Peter J Wacks
Peter was born in California sometime during 1976. Maybe. It was a good year to allegedly be born in. He has always been amazed and fascinated by both writing and the world in general, and has worked in everything from waiting tables to private detection.
Throughout the course of his life, he has hitchhiked across the States and backpacked across Europe on the Eurail. He likes reading, watching movies, playing video games, and playing tabletop games. He also studies martial arts and philosophy. Just in case you were wondering, he loves strawberry daiquiris, and you are welcome to mail him one (can you tell he likes his postman?).
Peter writes a lot, and will continue to do so till the day he dies. Possibly beyond.
Peter has acted (Revenge of the Nerds and others), he has designed (and written story-lines for) games (the best-selling Cyberpunk CCG), written novels and other spec fiction (like Second Paradigm, which landed him a guest speaker gig with local Mensa on writing true nonlinear concepts), and even gotten nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for his first graphic novel, Behind These Eyes (co-written with Guy Anthony De Marco.) Currently, he is the managing editor of Kevin J. Anderson & Rebecca Moesta’s Wordfire Press and he is working on his next 3 novels with Steven L. Sears.

Kevin J. Anderson
Kevin J. Anderson is the author of 120 books, 51 of which appeared on bestseller lists; he has 23 million copies in print in 30 languages. Kevin coauthored 13 DUNE novels with Brian Herbert, as well as their original HELLHOLE trilogy. He followed his epic Saga of Seven Suns series with his Terra Incognita fantasy trilogy, and wrote the novel CLOCKWORK ANGELS based on the new Rush album. He recently launched a hilarious new series featuring Dan Shamble, Zombie PI. In addition to numerous STAR WARS projects, he wrote 3 X-FILES novels & collaborated with Dean Koontz on FRANKENSTEIN: PRODIGAL SON.
Jessica Brawner
Jessica Brawner grew up in the wilds of South Texas and plotted ways to spend her life traveling the world. She has been remarkably successful at that endeavor, attending school and travelling all over Europe at the age of eighteen, moving back to the United States to achieve two bachelor’s degrees, and then moving to Central Asia for a time with the Peace Corps. Fifteen years ago she discovered the wonders of Science Fiction and Fantasy conventions and the crazy, loveable, friends-are-the-family-you-choose mentality found there. She spent many years working as a booth babe and volunteering at conventions all over the country.
In addition to her convention activities, Ms. Brawner has developed and taught self-defense classes, worked as an event planner, an entertainment agent, a computer teacher, and a personal assistant. More recently she has channeled her adventures into writing and running several different small businesses. Peter Sartucci
Peter Sartucci lives with his wife and two children in Colorado where he is disguised by day as a commercial real estate appraiser. He has been writing fantasy and science fiction for more than 35 years as an engrossing hobby and has three novels and two short stories published on the SM Stirling fan site. He won an honorable mention from the Writers of the Future Contest for the fantasy work ‘Fear and the Maiden’, published here in the Story of the Month Club. He likes Hawaiian shirts, chocolate, and reading fantasy and science fiction (not necessarily in that order).
Lou J. Berger
Lou Berger started writing just shy of his 40th birthday. He lives in Centennial, Colorado with three kids, three dogs and a kink-tailed cat.
David Boop
David Boop is a Denver-based speculative fiction author. In addition to his novels, short stories and children’s books, he’s also an award-winning essayist and screenwriter. His novel, the sci-fi/noir She Murdered Me with Science, debuted in 2008 (and will return to print in 2015.) Since then, David has had over forty short stories published and two short films produced. He specializes in weird westerns, but has been published across several genres including media tie-ins for Green Hornet, The Black Bat, Veronica Mars and Marcus Sakey’s Abnorm Chronicles. 2013 saw the digital release of his first Steampunk children’s book, The Three Inventors Sneebury, with a print release due in 2016. David tours the country speaking on writing and publishing at schools, libraries and conventions.He’s a single dad, returning college student, part-time temp worker and believer. He’s a member of the International Association of Media Tie-in Writer, the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and the Western Writers of America.
